Pakistan-New Zealand ODI series to not be part of Super League

The two boards have also decided on when they will make up for the Super League’s fixtures. “As New Zealand will return to Pakistan in 2022-23 season, this 50 over games should now count towards our bilateral series between both countries,” said an official from PCB while Mr Canterbury confirmed that it was his understanding as well.”

The Super League is a 13-member league involving 12 Full Member nations along with Netherlands, and will decide which teams feature in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Hosts India qualify automatically for this event while other top seven team must compete in an qualifiers tournament to join them or face being left out entirely! Winners of each match get ten points (a win) five point margin of victory conditional upon no result (“tie”), zero if they’re defeated by abandonment

Azam Khan makes it to Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad

Azam Khan, a 23-year old wicketkeeper batsman who is currently playing in the Caribbean Premier League has been called up for Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad. Azam made his international debut against England earlier this year and since then he has only played 3 games under Sarfaraz Ahmed.

However, with an almost 150 career strike rate at just around 27 years of age, it seems as if that will be enough to save him from being axed by the selectors even though Sarfaraz was recently dropped due to poor form.

The 15-member squad also sees the return of Asif Ali and Khushdil Shah to the T20 lineup with selectors opting for more firepower in a line up that had issues in middle order. Both last played February earlier this year against Zimbabwe, while Sharjeel Khan and Fakhar Zaman haven’t been picked but are part traveling reserves including Usman Qadir and Shahnawaz Dahani who aren’t on showpiece event team sheet either .

Fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Junior has been preferred over Faheem Ashraf due to his pace and ability to hit big shots. This combination will prove beneficial for the team as they are looking forward with a lot of aggression in their batting lineup, especially against spinners.”

As Pakistan gears up for one-day internationals (ODIs) at home starting later this month, coach Mickey Arthur is confident that Azam Khan’s aggressive style can help him click alongside Sarfaraz Ahmed who prefers playing under pressure situations better than being an attacking threat himself. As far as bowling goes, Mohammad Wasim Jr.’s fast pace adds depth while Iftikhar Ahmad makes way because he lacks experience on the field which could lead them into trouble

Bumrah, Jadeja wrap up huge win for India

The highest compliments for Jasprit Bumrah’s dream spell post Lunch on the final day were paid by his fast-bowling colleagues Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav. When viewed in isolation, they bowled good follow-up overs, but weren’t able to hold their own against Joe Root and Chris Woakes who had immense pressure during batting.

It showed that The Oval pitch hadn’t changed much since Lunch time; India needed their pace bowling spearhead to conjure magic through the air so he could produce a spell reading 6/3/6/2 which was what eventually led them towards victory with an outcome of 157 runs.

India seized control of the match during a session after lunch, taking 6 for 62 and blowing England’s hopes. Ravindra Jadeja was one key figure in this run, starting with getting Haseeb Hameed out before adding Moeen Ali to his list of victims as England lost 4 for 19 from a position of relative comfort.
In that spirit of positivity, both openers got fifties – but then India struck back hard by removing them cheaply while they were batting together – which pushed goals further away from being achieved by their team-mates who followed suit soon enough losing wickets at regular intervals putting them on the ropes.

After surviving a delivery that spun viciously out of the rough, Hameed called Malan for a non-existent single to Jadeja who bowled him from the rough with another turner. First innings half centurion Ollie Pope started off well before being dismissed when he got an inside edge onto his pad trying to play it down leg side by Yadav’s effortless incoming ball changeover after bowling over three dry deliveries on middle stump line which was followed up by two more in quick succession outside off and one wide scoot across lureingly away from the right handed batsman making sure there wasn’t any room left for adjustment or escape route.
Pope managed only seven runs between lunch and tea adding just five more in almost four hours.

Misbah-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis step down as Pakistan coaches

Misbah-ul Haq, head coach of Pakistan cricket team since May 2016 will step down from his position. He has been replaced by Waqar Younis as the new bowling coach who had already announced an end to his coaching career in April this year due to health issues. The decision comes shortly after announcing a squad for 2021 T20 World Cup consisting mainly young players with not many established stars figuring in it.”

The PCB announced on 10th March, 2019 that the duo had a year left in their contract. They would be joined by Saqlain Mushtaq who is currently serving as bowling coach at National High Performance Centre (NHPC). The board also confirmed Abdul Razzaq will join team management for New Zealand series to be played home.

Prasidh Krishna added to India’s squad for the Oval Test

Inida vs Eng

Prasidh Krishna, the Karnataka pacer was named in India’s squad for the fourth Test against England on September 2nd. He has replaced Mohammed Shami following a request from Indian team management.

Prasidh was not able to play in the first three games, and India went on to win all of them. However, he would get his chance as Kumar injured himself during training before the fourth game which meant Prasidh got a place in the playing eleven for that match.

Meanwhile, Cricbuzz understands Ravindra Jadeja’s knee injury isn’t a serious cause of concern and the all-rounder will be available for selection. India’s only spinner used in the series so far injured his knee during England’s first innings but later batted as well following this scare. It was not until after Tests concluded that he went to get precautionary scans done on his leg which showed no signs of long term damage or high risk factors associated with it.”
“Meanwhile,” “Crickbuzz”, and other words like them are unnecessary filler text that don’t add anything substantial to what is being said already (unlike how they were added by mistake before). So I removed those from my output below:

India’s squad for fourth Test (Updated): Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), R.
